Day Dreaming

Hallo Folks,

Its already Thursday again - blimey didn't the week whizz by fast? Hold your horses - it aint Friday so it aint whizzed by just yet! Anyway, lets suffice it to say - so far so quick!

Anyway, what I would like to talk about today is day dreaming. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself how often you day dream? In fact, it isnt even so much important as to how much you do it - but rather when in particular it happens.

It is a sign of boredom. I mean doing it in the bog is ok because lets be honest - its more exciting than concentrating on what we are doing at that moment.
But how about when we are working? Is it right to be daydreaming? Can we function properly whilst daydreaming? I mean you can argue drivers who deliver stuff must spend huge chunks of their working life day dreaming and still get their good delivered on time - but still.... what i am trying to say is - if you are in the habit of daydreaming too often - you gotta find ways of making your life more interesting because otherwise you ride the serious danger of:

Living in your own little fantasy world!

Now lets be honest - thats sad because whatever it is you are doing when you are daydreaming you obviously consider more important than the daydream itself because you havent stopped what you are doing to fully absorb yourself to the daydream!
You just havent found a way to harness your whole attention to whatever it is you are doing when the daydreaming occurs.

Something has got to give - daydreaming too often is not a good thing - it can create a feeling of lethargy, create the desire for procrastination and sow the seeds of inaction.

Take a stand here and now people - fight back against the lethal day dreaming bug before you become entrapped in a permanent day dream and the real world has passed you by completely.
