What Sets you Apart?

Has it ever occured to you that life is a competition? Its arguably not a competition in a spiritual sense because God has enough space in heaven to stick us all there if we are good enough but in the secular world - its hugely competitive!
Think about what your occupation is right now... and now think about how many people are in exactly the same boat as you doing exactly what you are doing!

You got to start finding out what makes you tick and what sets you apart from the competition - ie everybody else just like you! There arent enough jobs, money or perfect life partners for everybody so you gotta start asking yourself what makes you special and different from everyone else on the market?

If you are struggling to answer - the good news is that you can begin choosing your passions and discovering yourself now. Think of something you've always wanted to do but always find excuses not to and I'm not talking about smoking with your mates cos it looks cool! Im talking about adventuruous stuff like writing a novel, bungee jumping, backpacking in thailand - I dont know - basically uncovering your passions and find out what makes you tick.

I can tell you all for free - if you dont know what sets you apart from in this world which is ultra competitive and getting increasingly competitive, how do you expect to be able to sell yourself to prospective employers or spouses or get promotion ahead of the guy who joined your company a year after you but is more self assured than you and knows what sets him apart? the answer - it aint gonna happen!

This world is a market place where you constantly have to sell yourself and tbe best salesman is he who knows the unique selling points of his products the best and can deliver them to his audience the best.

Remember this and this and it will serve you well. Ignore it at your peril.
